Stolen car crashes into US Postal Service truck

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – Oklahoma City police say two men driving a stolen car crashed into a U.S. Postal Service truck.

The postal service driver was not injured in the Tuesday morning crash. The two men in the stolen car were treated at a hospital before being taken to the Oklahoma County jail.

No names were immediately released.

Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow told reporters that the car was reported stolen about 7 a.m. and officers spotted it in southeast Oklahoma City about an hour later. Wardlow says officers briefly pursued the car – but backed off because it was being driven recklessly before it eventually crashed into the mail truck.
