TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)–A crash on I-10 injures a woman in Leon County. A witness who stopped to help sent us video of first responders on the scene.

The condition of the driver is unknown but several people including a nurse and her family stopped to help.

The crash happened around 7:20 on I-10 westbound at mile marker 205 that’s near the Thomasville Road exit.

Sommer Hoyt says she saw a person driving erratically and then watched as the SUV crashed into a tree. Sommer, her husband, and their children pulled off the interstate to check on the driver.

“We broke down the window,” said Sommer. “We saw that the woman was breathing and she had a pulse she never had any moments of true lucidness. She barely opened her eyes.”

Sommer says they are continuing to pray for the driver. We will continue to follow this story and bring you updates.
