One person seriously hurt in tractor-trailer crash on I-10

A tractor-trailer and another vehicle collided on eastbound Interstate 10 in Coachella today, and one seriously hurt person was airlifted to a hospital.

The collision near the TA Travel Center at 46511 Dillon Road occurred about 12:30 a.m., according to Jody Hagemann of the Riverside County Fire Department.

In addition to the person airlifted, another person was taken to a hospital by ambulance, she said.
