I-10 westbound lanes near Casa Grande reopen after 4-vehicle crash

SACATON, Arizona — Westbound Interstate 10 has reopened north of Casa Grande after a four-vehicle crash.

The Arizona Department of Transportation said Thursday a stretch of the interstate near the Sacaton Rest Area opened back up a few hours after the 1 p.m. collision.

ADOT officials say one of the vehicles involved was carrying cleaning supplies, causing toilet paper and paper towels to be strewn across the lanes.

ADOT says there are minor injuries but did not provide further details.

All traffic was temporarily rerouted onto State Route 387.
