Grand Jury indicts drug, follow suspect

WEST GREENWICH, R.I. (WPRI) – The male indicted of heading military on a chase, during that a Rhode Island State guard was hurt, has been indicted on several charges in tie with Feb incident.

The Kent County Grand Jury handed adult a complaint Tuesday, charging Dwight David with possession of a tranquil substance, marijuana, in additional of over 5 kilograms; possession with vigilant to deliver; pushing while in possession of a tranquil substance; deterrent of justice; and facing arrest.

According to police, on Feb. 23, 2012 a state guard pulled David over for speeding on I-95 in West Greenwich. During a trade stop, troopers pronounced a feet office ensued after David took off and ran into circuitously woods.

While responding to a incident, Trooper Jonathan Elliott was harm when his military cruiser rolled over. Elliot survived a crash, though was injured.

David, 42, of Dorchester, Mass. was eventually arrested. Troopers pronounced he had scarcely 50 pounds of pot dark in a black container in a lorry of his let car.

David has been hold but bail given his arrest. He’s scheduled for prosecution on Apr 27, 2012.
