All lanes are open Interstate 10 are open from an earlier multiple car crash. Congestion is backed up to La. 73 in Prairieville.
The crash involved four cars and a gravel truck on Interstate 10 just west of Highland Road and forced the closure of the westbound lanes, State Police spokesman Russell Graham said.
Traffic was diverted off the interstate at Highland Road then right back onto Interstate 10, Graham said.
There were no reports of fatalities or serious injuries, Graham said.
