4 Bay Minette residents injured in Florida crash

Four Baldwin County residents and a Florida man were seriously injured on Sunday after a pickup truck spun out while trying to merge onto Interstate 10 in Pensacola, according to a report from NorthEscambia.com.

According to the report, 37-year-old Ashley Stricken, of Cantonment, Fla., was on the eastbound I-10 ramp from U.S. Highway 29 when he lost control of his 1988 Toyota Tacoma and started to spin. The truck hit a 2014 Mazda which was being driven by Bay Minette resident Donald White, 58.

White was driving with three passengers, all from Bay Minette, at the time of the accident. NorthEscambia identified the passengers as 20-year-old Tyler White, 19-year-old Whitney Roberts and 25-year-old Amy Jernigan.

Officers with the Florida Highway Patrol did not respond to requests for comment.
